Unique M1942 paratrooper set

This is the ultimate reenactors M1942 paratroopers uniform. The set is complete with
a 82nd Airborne patch and genuine rankpatches. The sizing is as follows:
Jacket: XXL US size 44-46 Trousers: 38x34. Please look up measurements on
google for proper fit. The design of the uniform is as such that it is overall snug and
the trousers are worn baggy and different to what we are used to today. Just look it
up!!!

This is the ultimate reenactors uniform as it has been treated with CC2 like material
to give it a dark and damper appearance and feel. The CC2 treatment at the time
was smelly and evasive. I have treated the set with a proper wax that does the trick
without leaving a dangerous smell that is bad for your health. It has been treated
with a waxlike product that has been used for this purpose specifically for centuries.
Clearly in WW2 it was used to impregnate against german gasattacks but also to
impregnate against rain and wind to provide more isolation. It gives a unique
appearance and makes the uniforms much darker in appearance and gives them a
damp feel.

This is the only way to have the 100% correct appearance for any DDay US
paratrooper. Just before DDay all uniforms had to be turned in and treated. Even
the series Band of Brothers had a great eye for detail. The moment the troopers are
offloaded of the trucks towards the planes you can clearly see the CC2 treatment of
the uniforms. Amazing eye for detail. I believe this picture shows best the effect of
the treatment.

The set was originally US made and from a nineties batch.
