This standard US Tanker jacket Winter was worn by many paratroopers particularly during the Bulge campaign during which the winter was particularly harsh. These winter jackets give much freedom of movement and arm warm and very comfortable. This particular jacket is brandnew made by SM Wholesale USA known for their superior quality WW2 clothing.
The zippers are genuine Talon and the interior is a italian wool liner which makes it very comfortable to wear and not the itchy felt interiors as usual. The jacket comes complete with genuine chevrons and an excellent quality replica 101st airborne regimental patch. It is brandnew and never worn. A great jacket for everyday wear or reenactment. The quality is the finest in the market today.
Though still made with the original quality 8.5 oz cotton twill exterior, with its deep expandable gussets and 100% knitted wool collars, cuffs, and waistbands with different shades for authenticity. We now have added an improved Italian wool liner that does not itch whatsoever. And using real nickel Talon zippers. This tanker is a masterpiece and super comfortable to wear. A great jacket for every day too!!!
