M42 paratrooper set Normandyjump

This beautiful complete set M42 is a jacket with belt and trousers. Please note that
we have three sets. One set with 101st Airborne patch without the US flag for
obvious reasons and a set 82nd Airborne with US 48star flag attached.
The 82nd airborne set is rigger reinforced as most sets would be just prior to the
Normandy jump. The jacket has 1st lieutenant rankpatch attached.
The 101st airborne sets are not reinforced and the standard Overlordversion.

The sets are used or warn but only washed and patches attached. The colours and
quality of these sets are superior to all the other sets in the market today. Most
suppliers get these kits completely wrong in terms of stitching, material and fit.
These kits have had a washing sothat the initial shrinkage is done.

All sets have the following size:
Jacket: US size 48
Trousers: US size 42x34

In WW2 the way trousers were worn are completely different than today. The trousers
needed to be very roomy to allow for a uniform to be warn underneath.
Hence the phrase for paratroopers: Devils in baggy trousers.
